Media Blasters Delays, Cancels Releases

North American anime distributor Media Blasters notified retailers that it is delaying the following releases:
- Shamanic Princess: April 2013
- Ai no Kusabi: The Space Between: April 2013
- Live-action films Bio-Slime, Darnell Dawkins: Mouth Guitar Legend, Lady Ninja: Reflections of Darkness: February 2013
- Live-action film The Possession in Japan: March 2013
Right Stuf reports that new release dates for Chanbarra Beauty: The Movie, and Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead will be announced soon. Right Stuf also reports that the Fushigi Yugi OVA Collection will have a new release date announced, but The Anime Corner Store reports that it has been cancelled.
According to Right Stuf, Media Blasters removed the following titles from its schedule:
- Kite on Blu-ray
- Squid Girl, Part 3 (Season 2)
- Gaogaigar Complete Collection
- Live-action films Unaware, Tokyo Vengeance, Ring of Curse, Fresh Meat Six Pack, Dracula vs. Frankenstein on Blu-ray
Media Blasters has not responded to ANN's request for comment.
