Attack on Titan Drama CD's Cleaning Battle Previewed in Video

Kodansha began streaming a preview video for the original Attack on Titan drama CD that will come bundled with the January issue of its Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine on Tuesday. The magazine bundled with the drama CD will ship in Japan on December 9.
The preview audio for the "Squad Leader VS. Mikasa: Raging Cleaning Battle" drama features the narration of Mikasa (Yui Ishikawa), who says that a new battle had begun at the team's headquarters. A sleepy Eren (Yūki Kaji) is awoken by squad leader Levi (Hiroshi Kamiya), who says that it's time for the second large cleaning of the headquarters. Although Eren tells him that dawn hasn't broken and the team has already done a big cleaning two days previous, Levi assigns him to clean the living quarters, as Eren cleaned the garden during the last cleaning.
Hajime Isayama's original Attack on Titan manga depicts the battles between humans and the giants who now rule the world outside humans' walled enclaves. Isayama launched the series in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2009, and the manga now has 25 million copies in print. Kodansha Comics is publishing the manga in North America on a monthly basis until it is caught up with the Japanese releases. Kodansha Comics will also release three spinoff manga series and a guidebook in North America.
Both Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the original manga's anime adaptation as it aired in Japan. Funimation will release the series on home video next year.
