Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san Yuri Manga Gets Anime

Sumire Uesaka, Nao Tōyama lead cast for story of girls with cat-like, dog-like tendencies

The March issue of Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine announced on Saturday that an anime adaptation of Kuzushiro's Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san four-panel yuri gag manga has been green-lit. The anime is scheduled to premiere in April on TV Saitama, tvk, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV. The magazine also announced the cast and staff for the anime:

Shinpei Nagai (Hiiro no Kakera - The Tamayori Princess Saga, Psycho-Pass episode director) is directing the anime at Seven. Takehiro Miura (Honey and Clover, Photo Kano key animation) is providing the character designs, while Dax Production (Fate/stay night, Durarara!!) is producing the music. Masakatsu Oomuro (Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East, Weiß Survive) is taking the position of sound director, while Dream Creation (Chitose Get You!!, Sparrow's Hotel) is producing the anime.

A website for the anime is scheduled to open for the anime at a later time.

The story of the original manga revolves around Suzu Nekoyama, a timid, shy tsundere (initially aloof and abrasive, but later kind-hearted) girl loves dogs, and Yachiyo Inugami, a super masochistic, air-headed, friendly girl who loves cats. One day, after a fateful meeting, the two find themselves attracted to each other. In response to Inugami's instinctive approaches, Nekoyama is always bashful. Their friend Aki has to work hard to make jabs at some of the situations of the two, and also to stop Inugami from going berserk.

Kuzushiro began the manga in 2012, and Ichijinsha shipped the second compiled volume in November.
