This year's 34th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine is announcing the voice cast for the Inajitsu team in the baseball anime Ace of Diamond on Wednesday. KENN, Sōichiro Hoshi, Tetsuya Kakihara, and Shō Yamaguchi (from top left to bottom right) will play Carlos Toshiki Kamiya, Katsuyuki Shirakawa, Hideaki Yoshizawa, and Riku Yamaoka, respectively. Masanori Ishikawa, a real-life pitcher with the Tokyo Yakult Swallows, will also play a character in the 47th episode on September 7.

MADHOUSE and Production I.G are producing the baseball series. The story follows Eijun Sawamura (Ryota Ohsaka), a pitcher who joins an elite school with a brilliant catcher named Kazuya Miyuki (Takahiro Sakurai). Together with the rest of the team, they strive for Japan's storied Kōshien championships through hard work and determination.

The anime premiered in Japan on October 6, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
