Nobunaga no Shinobi Anime's Cast, Staff Unveiled

This year's seventh issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine announced the cast and staff of the television anime of Naoki Shigeno's Nobunaga no Shinobi four-panel manga on Friday.
The cast includes:
- Inori Minase as Chidori
- Wataru Hatano as Nobunaga
- Kappei Yamaguchi as Hideyoshi
- Ayumu Murase as Sukezō
- Chiaki Takahashi as Kichō
- Suzuko Mimori as Oichi
- Rie Kugimiya as Nene
Akitarō Daichi (Nurse Angel Ririka SOS, Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoi yo!! Masaru-san, Kamisama Kiss) is directing the anime at TMS Entertainment, and Junko Yamanaka (Detective Conan, Kamisama Kiss, ReLIFE) is designing the characters for animation.
The anime will premiere this year. "Episode 0" of the anime will screen at this year's Anime Japan 2016 event this weekend.
The gag manga centers on a young female ninja named Chidori, whose dream is to help the Warring States-era warlord Oda Nobunaga to achieve his goals. Shigeno launched the manga in Young Animal in 2008, and Hakusensha published the manga's ninth compiled volume last August.
