On Monday March 29, Anime Limited will release the Studio 4°C feature film Children of the Sea as a DVD, Blu-ray and a Collectors Blu-ray/DVD. The Collectors Blu-ray/DVD will include a 68-page booklet.
The film is based on Daisuke Igarashi's manga of the same name. Viz Media published the manga in English, and it describes the story:
When Ruka was younger, she saw a ghost in the water at the aquarium where her dad works. Now she feels drawn toward the aquarium and the two mysterious boys she meets there, Umi and Sora. They were raised by dugongs and hear the same strange calls from the sea as she does.Ruka's dad and the other adults who work at the aquarium are only distantly aware of what the children are experiencing as they get caught up in the mystery of the worldwide disappearance of the oceans' fish.
Joe Hisaishi of Studio Ghibli fame composed the music for the film. Watanabe (Space Brothers, After the Rain) directed the film, and Kenichi Konishi (Tokyo Godfathers, The Tale of the Princess Kaguya) was the animation director and character designer.
MVM will release a Collector's Blu-ray edition of the two TV seasons of Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, animated by ufotable. MVM described the series:
"Fuyuki City—a city surrounded by the sea and mountains becomes the setting for an ancient ritual. Seven Masters are given control of Heroic Spirits in order to realize the mythical Holy Grail, which is said to grant its owner any wish. These Heroic Spirits, or Servants, represent legendary heroes of various classes: Saber, Lancer, Archer, Rider, Caster, Assassin, and Berserker. Each Master enter into a contract with their chosen Servant and battle the others to the death until only one pair remains… This is the Holy Grail War."
Manga Entertainment will released a collected Blu-ray edition of Dragon Ball Z Season 5.
Manga will also release Fairy Tail: The Final Season Part 26 on Blu-ray and DVD, carrying episodes 317 to 328.
