Ani-One Asia announced on Facebook on Monday that it will begin streaming the television anime of Hitsuji Yamada's The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today (Dekiru Neko wa Kyō mo Yūutsu) manga as well as the second cours (quarter of the year) of the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime in India on July 8.

The channel will stream an episode of The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today every Saturday at 9:00 p.m. IST. The anime will also stream in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, the Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, New Caledonia, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.

Ani-One Asia describes the anime:

Yukichi is not an ordinary house cat, but a masterful cat. When Saku took in a stray black cat, she never expected that he would become the equivalent of a housekeeping life partner. Instead of playing with toy mice, Yukichi scours supermarket flyers for good deals and keeps the house spotless. With a pet like that, it's hard to tell who's taking care of who!

Susumu Kudo (K, Coppelion) is credited as chief director, while Katsumasa Yokomine (episode director on Coppelion, Hand Shakers, W'z) is directing at GoHands. GoHands is also in charge of the series scripts, which Tamazo Yanagi (Hand Shakers, Scar on the Praeter) is writing. Takayuki Uchida (Asa made Jugyō Chu!, Hand Shakers, Scar on the Praeter, W'z) is designing the characters.

Yamada launched the manga in Kodansha's Suiyōbi no Sirius online manga section on the Nico Nico Seiga website in August 2018. The manga began serialization in Monthly Shonen Sirius in October 2021. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will return for its second cours (quarter of the year) and premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliates (as well as on other venues) in Japan on July 8 at 11:00 p.m. (10:00 a.m. EDT). The anime premiered on October 10 in Japan on TV Tokyo and its affiliates, and is streaming on 20+ services in Japan, including Hulu and Disney+. Ani-One Asia's YouTube channel began streaming the anime for Ultra subscribers on October 10. The channel began streaming the original Bleach anime on September 16. bilibili began streaming the original Bleach anime for free on August 13.

The Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime covers the rest of the original manga up through its ending. The Thousand Year Blood War arc is the final arc of the manga, and covers volumes 55-74.

Tomohisa Taguchi (Twin Star Exorcists, Kino's Journey - The Beautiful World, Akudama Drive) is replacing Noriyuki Abe to direct the anime at Studio Pierrot. Masashi Kudo is returning as the character designer, and Shiro SAGISU is returning to composing the music.

The three-member rock band w.o.d. is performing the opening theme song "STARS." This is the first time that w.o.d. is contributing a theme song for an anime. Manga creator Kubo noted that he himself is a fan of the band, although that was not a factor in choosing the song.

The show's Japanese returning cast also includes cast members who have not appeared in the anime, but are reprising their roles from the Bleach: Brave Souls game.
