Scrye names Fullmetal Alchemist TCG top new CCG of 2005

CHARLOTTE, NC (May 30, 2005) -- The votes are in, and Scrye readers have voted Fullmetal Alchemist TCG their Favorite New Collectible Game of the Year in the 2005 Scrye Player's Chōice Awards! Nearly 30 collectible games were eligible for the award, which was voted on by Scrye readers via the Internet and snail mail for the first few months of 2006.

The Player's Chōice Awards covered 10 categories, including all-time favorite games in a number of categories. Fullmetal Alchemist TCG joins Magic: The Gathering (All-Time Favorite Collectible Card Game), HeroClix (All-Time Favorite Collectible Miniatures Game), Risk (All-Time Favorite Board/Strategy Game), and Dungeons & Dragons (All-Time Favorite Role-Playing Game) as this year's honorees, revealed in the August 2006 issue of Scrye (#98).

According to the magazine, FMA TCG received nearly a third of the votes in the category, beating out 25 other games in its category. FMA TCG's only expansion set of 2005, Blood & Water, also took fourth place in the Favorite Collectible Card Game Expansion of 2005.

JoyRide Entertainment would like to thank all of its devoted fans who voted for Fullmetal Alchemist TCG!
