Tora-Con 2008 Announces J-Pop Band unicorn table as Its Guests of Honor

ROCHESTER, NY - December 20, 2007 - The RIT Anime Club is incredibly excited to announce Tora-Con 2008's Guests of Honor, America's #1 J-Pop band: unicorn table!
unicorn table is headed by two J-music veterans. Charming singer and songwriter Salia's beautiful singing voice can be heard in anime theme songs including “Cutie Honey Flash” and “Vandread,” while music arranger and guitar player shin-go, has worked on series such as “Solty Rei,” and “Pumpkin Scissors,” as well as Paramount Picture's hit live-action movie, “Casshern.” Their hit 2005 album, uncountable has become a hit overseas in America. It was released stateside in 2007 by TenBu Productions, and showcases their energetic style that can get everyone and anyone moving.
unicorn table is known for their crowd-pleasing live performances and exciting stage presence, as their signature upbeat J-Rock Pop sound can and has energized thousands of crowd-goers in Japan and in the U.S. RIT Anime Club is beyond thrilled to have them perform at Tora-Con 2008 for anime and music fans in the Rochester area and beyond.
ABOUT TORA-CON: Tora-Con was created by the Rochester Institute of Technology Anime Club to provide family friendly anime and manga related entertainment to the Rochester area and more. The convention is planned and prepared by a dedicated Anime Club E-Board made up of RIT students.
About RIT Anime Club: Founded in the early 1990s, the RIT Anime Club is one of the largest anime clubs in the country with over 150 active members. The purpose of the RIT Anime Club is to enrich the academic environment by stimulating the growth and appreciation of Anime as an art form as well as the awareness and understanding of Japanese Culture.
