Castle Point Anime Convention Announces Michelle Knotz, Bill Rogers, Uncle Yo, Katie Tiedrich, and Mike Pollock as Special Guests

Castle Point Anime Convention announces Michelle Knotz, Bill Rogers, Uncle Yo, Katie Tiedrich, and Mike Pollock as special guests

HOBOKEN, NEW JERSEY – March 27, 2011. Castle Point Anime Convention has just released a list of their confirmed guests for this year's convention. Returning to the convention are voice actress Michelle Knotz and voice actor Bill Rogers, in addition to comedian Uncle Yo. Also attending this year is voice actor Mike Pollock, who has worked on numerous 4Kids Productions shows. Further guests announcements are waiting to be confirmed.

Michelle Knotz and Bill Rogers have both attended CPAC in the past and have done voice acting on the show "Pokémon." Michelle is known for her roles of Misty, Jessie, May, and Nurse Joy in "Pokémon". Michelle has also voiced Ogiue Chika in the "Genshiken" OVA's and Koyuki Asagiri in "Kujibiki Unbalance." Voice actor Bill Rogers is also known for his roles in "Pokémon" as the voice of Brock, "Gravitation" as Touma Seguch, "Genshiken" as Tanaka Souichiro, and many others.

As well, comedian Uncle Yo, who attended CPAC last year, will once again be attending the con this year. An emerging act in the world of conventions, Karl "Uncle Yo" Custer writes material for otaku, video gamers, role players, Trekkies, Jedi, and comic book fanboys (and girls).

Katie Tiedrich attended CPAC last year and is the artist of the weekly gaming webcomic "Awkward Zombie" and a student at Stevens Institute of Technology. Katie will be hosting her own panel at the event, where she will discuss her comic and artwork. When not producing her comic, she studies mechanical engineering and is an avid fan of webcomics and video games in general.

Attending CPAC for the first time is voice actor Mike Pollock. Saturday morning cartoon viewers of FOX and The CW might recognize his voice as Meat in "Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy," the Mayor and Samo, the bartender, in "Kirby: Right Back At Ya!," Garbageman on "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," Dr. Eggman and Ella on "Sonic X" and the Sonic the Hedgehog video games, Bigoriki in Gororiki, and Langston Lickatoad in "Viva Piñata." He's also been heard as Bonaparte in "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX" on Cartoon Network, the interim narrator in "Pokémon" and Beast in the Marvel Motion comic adaptation of the Astonishing X-Men. Mike also does some character work on Sirius XM Radio, as well as radio and TV commercials for Focus Factor, SunSetter Retractable Awnings, No-Doz, Comcast, Burger King, AC/DC, Verizon, and promos for HBO International. When not voice acting, he also writes comedy bits and song parodies.

Those interested in attending CPAC this year as a guest should email guests (at castlepointanime.com). For more information about Castle Point Anime Convention, please visit the convention website at castlepointanime.com.
