SaikouCon Announces Voice Actors Greg Houser, Bill Rogers, and Marc Swint as Guests of Honor for 2014

Dec 10th 2013
Convention Also Announces Plans for Cyber Anime Club Extension

12/10/13 Breinigsville, PA – Anime Ate My Brain Magazine announced last year that they will be hosting a convention called SaikouCon. SaikouCon, which means "best convention", is the Lehigh Valley's first and only large scale, annual anime convention.

Presented by Anime Ate My Brain Magazine, a division of Tastes Like Rock! Publishing (Tastes Like Rock! Music Magazine, Anime Ate My Brain Magazine, Tastes Like Rock! Radio), the
convention promises to be a yearly high point in the Summer months of the anime convention
season. Boasting a dedicated staff of longtime Japanese anime and manga fans, SaikouCon is
excited to be the only annual convention dedicated exclusively to anime, manga, and Japanese culture in this area of Northeast Pennsylvania.

After a smashing debut in 2013, SaikouCon is back and ready for more with an even bigger show planned! All this and the convention still plans on being very hands and attendee friendly, plus maintaining a safe atmosphere for attendees to enjoy the convention to their carefree fullest. As always, Cosplay =/= Consent is a very important issue to the staff of SaikouCon, and the same rules and regulations that made SaikouCon 2013 a safe haven for cosplayers will be enforced just as strictly at SaikouCon 2014.

SaikouCon's guest of honor keeps growing with the addition of Greg Houser (Evangelion, Shiki, One Piece, and more), Bill Rogers (Pokémon, Boogie Pop Phantom, Gravitation, and more), and Marc Swint (Mass Effect: Paragon Lost, Anime Abandon)! Joining SaikouCon 2013 only a few days before the show, they graciously cut their 3 part, 6 hours total, feature interactive presentation on Professional Voice Acting down to a mere two hours. At SaikouCon 2014 they will be presenting the full experience!

SaikouCon full list of guests is now as follows:
Guests of Honor – RuffleButt Cosplay (Jessie Pridemore), Greg Houser Voice Actor, Bill Rogers Voice Actor, Marc Swint Voice Actor and Sound Engineer
Featured Guests – The Sci-Fi Photo Guys, more to be announced soon!
Musical Guests – The Adarna, more to be announced soon!

For more information about the Guests appearing at SaikouCon 2014 visit http://www.saikoucon.com/guests-of-honor.html.

SaikouCon has always wanted to be as inactive with fans and attendees as possible through their so follow their social media profiles on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr to get the most up to date news and info from the convention. They also want all the feedback they can get to bring you, the fans, a perpetually better convention year after year!
To help that connectivity, SaikouCon is working on a Cyber Anime Club tentatively named SaikouClub that will be launched by the spring of 2014. The club will feature forums and chat events to discuss anime, manga, convention experiences and memories, how to improve the con, etc. The club hopes to have smaller offline events throughout the year, like theater screenings and concerts/dances/raves, to kee the SaikouCon experience truly a year round party for fandoms! More information coming soon!

The convention will always feature some of the best live entertainment themed to Japanese culture
as well as the best in J-Rock, J-Pop, and geek culture musical acts from all over the US and beyond.

All of this plus top creators, writers, artists, distributors, industry insiders, English dub and original
Japanese voice talent, some of the best cosplay talent, shows, masquerades; and so much more!
