Legendary Japanese Comedy Anime 'Kochikame' Gets First English-Language Release from Remow

All 373 episodes of the iconic series to be released on the “It's Anime” YouTube North America

TOKYO, JAPAN - May 11, 2025 - Anime distributor REMOW announced this famous Japanese anime is available in English for the first time ever: “KochiKame” (also known as Tokyo Beat Cops). KochiKame is an adaptation of the Weekly Shonen Jump manga of the same name published by Shueisha, which ran for a record 40 years in the magazine. One of the best-selling manga of all time, KochiKame has been a household name in Japan for generations, and now fans in the United States and Canada will be able to laugh along with Ryo-san and a colorful cast of characters.

KochiKame is available for free on REMOW's “It's Anime” YouTube channel for viewers in North America, with one episode made available each week.
