Story

The setting is Shonan, Enoshima. A town where the nostalgic and the fresh coexist.

All his life, high school student Yuki has never had a friend of his own, because he's freakishly inept at communicating with others. Haru, a self-proclaimed alien from outer space, is trying to get him to go fishing. Natsuki is a local boy born and raised in Enoshima, who always seems to be annoyed by whatever's going on around him. Akira is a mysterious Indian boy who watches over them all, while maintaining a cautious distance.

These four angst-filled teenagers meet and go fishing; and their tiny island takes center stage in an epic story... This is where it all starts - their SF (= Seishun Fishing) story!

Characters

Yuki Sanada
VA: Ryota Ohsaka
The main character of this story, and only one-quarter Japanese. He lives together with his French Grandmother. Until now, he's never had any friends, and his only communications have been through his smart phone... That's the kind of life he's lived.
Haru
VA: Miyu Irino
A self-proclaimed alien who says he came to Earth from outer space in order to fish. “Let's be friends, and go fishing together!” he says, forcefully inviting the beginner Yuki into the world of fishing. For some reason, he's always in high spirits.
Natsuki Usami
VA: Kōki Uchiyama
Born and raised in Enoshima, he's a genuine local, but he's always irritated; perhaps because he doesn't like where he was born and raised. He loves to fish, and his skill is on a professional level.
Akira Agarkar Yamada
VA: Tomokazu Sugita
An Indian who came to Enoshima at the same time as Haru. He watches Yuki and Haru without getting too close. His reasons are a mystery. He's always seen together with his duck, “Tapioca”.
