Novel Artist booota Draws in Wacom's Live Painting Video

Fukanzen Knuckle illustrator creates sketch on tablet from start to finish

Wacom, a company that makes digital drawing tablets, has added a new video with illustrator booota to its "Drawing with Wacom" series on Thursday. The video features booota using Wacom's Cintiq 24HD touch, a drawing tablet with a built-in 24-inch LCD display.

The illustrator drew the cover art for Ikkei Tōkaidō's Fukanzen Knuckle (Imperfect Knuckle) novel and contributed to the SAI Official Commentary on Illustrations book.

The entire series of videos can be viewed at Wacom's YouTube channel, including the previous one by Jashin Ōnuma/Nareru! SE illustrator Ixy.

The other artists in the series include Haruhi Suzumiya and Shana illustrator Noizi Ito, So-Ra-No-Wo-To and Hana-Saku Iroha character designer Mel Kishida, character designer Kei (Hatsune Miku and other Vocaloid2 characters), illustrator Ukke (Crosslight CD), designer toi8 (Le Chevalier D'Eon), illustrator redjuice (supercell's "World is Mine" music video), illustrator Akatsuki Katō (Psychic Detective Yakumo novels), animator Ryousuke Sawa (a.k.a. "Ryōchimo"; key animator, Evangelion 1.0; character designer, Birdy the Mighty: Decode), illustrator Teruhiko Imaizumi (Hanamaru Kindergarten), character designer Hidari (Natsu-iro Kiseki, Fractale), and manga creator Shiro (Yama no Susume).
