Digimon World Re:Digitize 3DS Videos Show Anime Scenes, Character Intros

Bandai Namco Games began streaming the second special movie for the Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode video game for the Nintendo 3DS on Friday. The video shows in-game anime cut scenes and introduces the game's characters.

The video introduces the Player hero (Ryoko Shiraishi), Nikorai Petorofu (Satoshi Hino), Akiho Rindou (Satomi Satou), Yuuya Kuga (Yuki Kaida), Mirei Mikagura (Miyuki Sawashiro), and Lili (Ami Koshimizu).

Players can raise their Digimon from infancy by feeding them, bringing them to the bathroom, and training them at the dojo. When a Digimon has grown enough, it will evolve (“digivolve” in American versions of the anime and games) into a new Digimon. Each Digimon has multiple evolution patterns depending on training methods and focus.

When on an adventure with their Digimon, the player can experience new parts of the story, as well as make friends with wild Digimon by completing their requests. The game also has the function “Digitter” (a parody of Twitter) where the player can read posts from other Digimon and characters.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode will be released for the Nintendo 3DS on June 27.
