Boruto's Showtaro Morikubo Gears Up for Next DVD Challenge

Voice actor and singer Showtaro Morikubo has played a wide variety of roles. He currently stars as ninja Shikamaru Nara in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and Atsumu Ozaki in Clean Freak! Aoyama kun, but neither role has prepared him for the real-life challenges in his DVD series.
The Marukubo Marutarō DVD series stars Morikubo attempting other occupations. The first DVD put him on board a ship and sent him out to try sea fishing. The second DVD's challenge was hinted at on the official Twitter account. Staff shared a picture of what looked like Morikubo inspecting a horse's foot and wearing a jumpsuit typically seen in a farming environment.
The account then revealed that Morikubo will be riding horses alongside voice actors Wataru Hatano (My Hero Academia, Bungo Stray Dogs) and Kōtarō Nishiyama (Sagrada Reset, Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!). The previously released image seen above wasn't Morikubo at all, but actually Hatano.
The second DVD's production is currently underway and slated for release on November 10.
