Project Blue Earth SOS Acquired by ADV Films

AnimeonDVD.com reports that ADV Films has acquired the license for the six-episode Project Blue Earth SOS television miniseries. This retro alternate history depicts mankind in the year 2000 after its transformation by the groundbreaking G-Reaction engine, but just before an alien invasion. The staff features director Tensai Okamura (Memories' "Stink Bomb," Wolf's Rain), script writer Ryota Yamaguchi (Sailor Moon Sailor Stars, Escaflowne), and Studio A.C.G.T. (Kino's Journey, Human Crossing). A 1948 Earth SOS adventure story by Shigeru Komatsuzaki (Thunderbirds model kit box illustrations) inspired the project.
