Sony's Animax Expands to Spain

Sony Pictures Television International has signed an agreement with Spain's Imagenio IPTV (internet protocol television) service to offer the Animax anime channel in that country. Available at launch will be several recent series such as NANA, Peach Girl and Le Chevalier D'Eon; movies like Kai Doh Maru and Appleseed; and classics Lupin the Third and Detective Conan. In addition to Imageneo, SPTI is also negotiating to place the channel with several other Spanish stations. Animax currently airs in 49 million homes across 41 different nations.

Fullmetal Alchemist is a series for the ages, and even if this part of it doesn't quite live up to its earlier incarnation, it's well worth watching and definitely worth owning. Fans will deeply appreciate this better-looking re-release.
GaoGaiGar: King of Braves DVD 4This fourth volume dips its toe into the character's private lives and increases the continuity between episodes. The changes prevent staleness, but are hardly enough to actually improve the series. More big dumb fun for the series' fans.
