Konami to Release 1st Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Cards Directly

The game manufacturer Konami has announced that it will release Duelist Pack - Yusei, the first trading card game based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series, on February 24. Previous Yu-Gi-Oh! card sets were distributed through Upper Deck. However, Konami announced earlier this month that it is reclaiming of "all operational and business aspects" of the trading card franchise. (There is a legal dispute between the two companies.)

Konami is also planning to launch its Crimson Crisis booster set through sneak peak events at participating retailers between February 28 and March 1. The set will ship nationwide to other retailers on March 3.
