The comScore information analysis firm reports that the Naruto anime series was #20 among "all shows/all channels" on the Hulu video-streaming website, and the #1 channel on the rival streaming site Joost in February. Naruto was also the top anime show on Hulu. The first Naruto series was #5 among just the animated shows on Hulu, while its Naruto Shippūden sequel was #4. The #9 and #10 animated shows were Bleach and Death Note, respectively.
Similarly, Naruto Shippūden and the first Naruto series were the #1 and #2 channels, respectively, on Joost in February. Bleach was #5 among all channels.
Hulu and Joost began streaming Naruto just last September, and both added Naruto Shippūden in January. Americans watched 13.1 billion online videos on the video content sites that comScore surveyed in February. 332,504,000 or 2.5% of those videos were from Hulu. Of the 145,177,000 Americans who reportedly watched videos online that month, 34,731,000 watched videos from Hulu. Each Hulu user watched an average of 9.6 videos from the site. Google's collection of video sites had the most users (69%) watching the most videos (40.9%).
