Those Who Hunt Elves' Yagami, ufotable Stream Yawarakame

Di Gi Charat's Miyuki Sawashiro plays all roles in anime about soft-bodied turtle

The BeeTV television service has posted the first two-minute episode for Yawarakame, the latest work from the anime studio ufotable (Kara no Kyōkai - the Garden of sinners, Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight!). (In the linked page, select the "メニュー" menu in the top left corner, and then select the "第1話無料配信中!" option.) BeeTV's computer website will also stream a 30-second trailer after the "予告映像見る?" button in the top right corner is selected. Although BeeTV is a Japanese mobile phone service, the website's "Punipuni Oshite Yawarakame" ("Squishing Yawarakame") episode and trailer are playable on personal computers worldwide.

The anime's title comes from the phrase "yawarakai kame" or "soft turtle." The project is a collaboration between ufotable and manga creator Yu Yagami (Those Who Hunt Elves, Hikkatsu!); they previously worked together on the Sumeba Miyako no Cosmos-sou Suttoko Taisen Dokkoider television anime series (released as Dokkoida?! by Geneon Entertainment and Sentai Filmworks in North America).

Miyuki Sawashiro, the voice actress best known for playing Puchiko/Petit CHARAT in both the Japanese and English versions of Di Gi Charat, is not only playing the title character Kame-chan and the female roles, but all the roles in Yawarakame.
