Ciao shōjo magazine to bundle anime for Chitose Yagami, Akira Wao's manga

The February issue of Shogakukan's Ciao magazine will bundle a DVD with the anime adaptations of Chitose Yagami's Ore-sama Kingdom (Kings of My Love) manga and Akira Wao's Hime Gal Paradise manga.

Just as in Yagami's most well-known work, Fall in love like a comic!, the heroine of Ore-sama Kingdom is a shōjo manga creator who is still in school. The story centers on Nono Nonohara, a young manga artist who just enrolled in a new high school. She finds herself surrounded by a group of three "super-cute" guys. Yagami launched the manga in February of 2009, and the third compiled book volume shipped last month. The cast of Ore-sama Kingdom includes Akiko Hasegawa as Nono, Mariya Ise, Takahiro Sakurai, Wataru Hatano, Makoto Naruse, and Koji Yusa.

Hime Gal Paradise follows Himeko Tachikawa, a quiet girl who goes to the all-female Chō Shibuya High School. A stunningly beautiful "Hime Gal" boy named Tochiotome Mikami transfers into her class, and he transforms Himeko into a cute girl as well. Wao launched Hime Gal Paradise last year, and the second compiled book volume shipped this past July. The anime adapts the story of how Himeko and Tochiotome met. The cast of Hime Gal Paradise includes Azumi Asakura (Himeko), Akeno Watanabe (Tochiotome), Emiri Katō, Mana Hirata, Erika, and Nobuaki Kanemitsu.
