The Northern California convention Kintoki-Con announced that illustrator Ryusuke Hamamoto and Japanese rock drummer Teruki will be attending as Guests of Honor during the June 18-19 weekend in Sacramento.

Hamamoto, who also goes by the name "Ryu Moto," designed the characters in the computer-animated Petit Eva - Evangelion@School project and other spinoffs based on Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion television anime series. He also drew Image Comics' Compass comic series and the LR Shōjo Tantei Dan manga. Along with other artists, he contributed to the Comic Artists - Asia and Hon anthologies.

According to the convention's official website, Teruki will not be making any music performances, but he will be co-hosting panels with author and guest of honor Takamasa Sakurai. Along with the rest of An Café, Teruki performed "Kakusei Heroism ~The Hero Without A Name~," the second opening theme song for the Darker than Black television anime series, and appeared at FanimeCon in Northern California in 2008. The members of An Café are continuing their musical hiatus that started in 2010; however, individually the members are participating in their own musical projects. Currently Teruki is the supporting drummer to the band DOG in the Parallel World Orchestra.

Moto, Teruki, and Sakurai join other Guests of Honor such as musical guests Moon Stream (Satsuki and Tomo Asaha), dōjinshi artists Kurot and KL-Chan, Flash comic artist Yuumei, and voice actors Richard Epcar and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.
