Aniplex of America began streaming the Occult Academy television anime series on the Hulu website on Friday. Crunchyroll streamed Occult Academy outside Japan as it aired in Japan from July to September of 2010.

The North American manga publisher Viz Media confirmed with ANN that it will stream the television anime Reborn! (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) starting next month. The anime will run on Hulu and will also be included (via Hulu-embedded videos) on VizAnime.com. The series, an adaptation of Akira Amano's manga of the same name, aired in Japan from October 2006 to September 2010. In 2009, Crunchyroll announced that it would simulcast the television series as this anime's first legitimate North American release at that time. Viz Media confirmed with ANN that it is only announcing the uncut subtitled stream at this time.

Viz acquired Amano's manga in English in 2006. The company's last release of the manga was the 16th volume last July; the 34th volume is scheduled for a May 2 release in Japan. Reborn! revolves around Tsunayoshi Sawada, a young Japanese boy who is revealed to be the scion of an Italian mob family who will become the family boss.

Viz has since announced that it began streaming the Monster television anime series, uncut and with English subtitles, on VizAnime.com and Hulu on Friday. The Syfy television channel began running the anime with English dubbing in the United States in 2009. Viz also publishes Naoki Urasawa's original manga.
