Yondemasuyo, Azazel-san Manga Gets 3rd Anime DVD

Yasuhisa Kubo's comedy about detective & demons inspired TV show from Tsutomu Mizushima, I.G

The official website of the Japanese publisher Kodansha has announced on Sunday that the limited edition of Yasuhisa Kubo's eigth Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san. manga volume will bundle the manga's third anime DVD. The bundle will ship on May 23, 2012. The new anime will run about 25 minutes long and adapt the manga's "Lucifer Arc." The gag comedy story revolves around the detective Akutabe, his assistant Rinko Sakuma, and the various magical demons that Akutabe uses for his cases.

The manga also inspired a television series (pictured right) this past spring. Tsutomu Mizushima (xxxHOLiC, Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan, Genshiken) is returning to direct the new anime DVD at Production I.G, after helming the previous anime DVDs and the television series.

The manga has been running in Kodansha's Evening magazine since 2007, and the fourth and fifth manga volume shipped with the first and second anime DVDs, respectively. It was nominated for the 2nd Manga Taisho Award on 2009.
