News After School Midnighters CG Film's 3rd Trailer Posted

Hong Kong's film and music news website Tube began streaming the Hōkago Midnighters (After School Midnighters) CG anime film's third trailer. The 117-second video includes English and Chinese subtitles and features the song "Re:myend!" by the Japanese all-female band Negoto.
In the slapstick comedy story, a human anatomical model comes to life at midnight in a science classroom at an elite elementary school. Kouichi Yamadera (Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion) will star as the naked anatomical model Kunstlijk, and Hiromasa Taguchi (Kaasan - Mom's Life) will voice the skeleton specimen Goth. Haruka Tomatsu (anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, Bodacious Space Pirates ), Sakiko Uran (Toriko, Ozma), and Minako Kotobuki (K-ON!, Tiger & Bunny) will play the elementary school children Mako, Miko, and Mutsuko.
Hitoshi Takekiyo directed the original 2007 CG anime short After School Midnight (Hōkago Midnight) that was well-received in Japan and in international film festivals. He is returning to direct the remake at the studio Koo-Ki. Yōichi Komori (Umizaru manga collaborator) is writing the new film.
The Japanese film distributor T-Joy will release Hōkago Midnighters in Japan on August 25. The entire original short is available from the AnimeTunes Vol. 1 app for iPhone and iPad devices.
