posted on by Egan Loo
Hiro's story of high school boy who ends up working at hot spring with goddess

Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive magazine announced on Monday that production on an anime short inspired by Hiro's "tender action hot-spring adolescent" manga Yumekuri has been green-lit. The story revolves around Makoto Yukami, a high school boy whose hobby is visiting hot springs. His 100th hot spring visit is at Miyama-kan, an inn run by four "poster girls": Tokura, Akino, Tsutsuji and Mitomo. There, Yukami spies Yuri, a goddess of the hot springs, and unexpectedly usurps her powers. Makoto ends up working at the inn.

The studio diomedéa (Squid Girl, Campione!) is producing the anime. Monthly Comic Alive had already announced that a drama CD adaptation of the manga had been green-lit, although with the anime announcement, it has been delayed from the end of October to November 28. The anime will come with the drama CD, and the following cast will voice both:

The manga launched in Monthly Comic Alive this past January, and Media Factory will publish the first compiled book volume on October 23. The first chapter is available for reading online.

Update: More information added.
