Sequel to anime of Hiroyuki Asada's fantasy manga via subbed DVD, digital outlets this year

North American anime licensing company Sentai Filmworks announced on Thursday that it acquired the Tegami Bachi: Reverse television anime series. The anime will be available later this year on subtitled DVD and through digital outlets.

Tegami Bachi: Reverse is a sequel to the 2009 TV anime adaptation of Hiroyuki Asada's shounen fantasy manga Tegami Bachi. The story revolves around a young boy named Lag Seeing who becomes a "letter bee," delivering messages throughout the world of AmberGround, which exists in eternal night.

Crunchyroll streamed both television anime series into several countries as they aired in Japan, and Viz Media published the original manga.
