Funimation Announces Noragami Anime English Dub Cast

North American anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment announced the English dub cast for the Noragami TV anime series on Saturday.
The cast, under ADR Director Mike McFarland and script writer Bonny Clinkenbeard, is:
- Jason Liebrecht as Yato
- Bryn Apprill as Hiyori
- Micah Solusod as Yukine
- Alexis Tipton as Kofuku
- Ian Sinclair as Daikoku
- Mike McFarland as Rabo
- Lauren Landa as Nora
- Elizabeth Maxwell as Bishamon
- Eric Vale as Kazuma
Funimation will release the series on DVD and Blu-ray on July 7.
Funimation is also streaming a trailer for the dub.
Funimation streamed the series based on Adachitoka's manga as it aired in Japan in January 2014. Funimation describes the story:
Yato may just be a minor god now, but he's determined to make it big and he's got a plan. Unfortunately, things just don't seem to be going his way. He doesn't have a single shrine dedicated to him, his partner has just quit, and now he's got to find a new divine weapon. Just when things look bleak, he meets a girl named Hiyori and changes her life forever.
Adachitoka launched the Noragami manga in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine in 2011, and Kodansha published the 13th compiled volume in Japan on April 17. Kodansha Comics will publish the fourth manga volume in North America on April 28.
The manga is also inspiring a second season that will adapt the manga's Bishamon arc.
The limited editions of the 10th and 11th volumes of the manga also each bundled an anime DVD when they shipped in February 2014 and July 2014 in Japan, respectively. The 15th and 16th volumes will also bundle original anime DVDs in Japan.
