Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Slated for February 4 in Japan

Boruto & Sarada bonuses previewed

This year's 36th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that Bandai Namco Entertainment will release Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (Naruto Shippūden Narutimate Storm 4) in Japan on February 4, 2016. The 7,600-yen (about US$70) game was previously scheduled for the PlayStation 4 this fall. The magazine also previewed the characters Boruto and Sarada, who will be bonuses in the first copies of the game in Japan.

Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will feature the largest number of fighters in the series history. That roster includes characters from the fight between Hashirama and Madara, as well as characters from The Last -Naruto the Movie-. The game will also recreate the Shinobi World War.

Those who buy the game in Japan on its initial release (or pre-order the game in America and Europe) will receive Boruto and Sarada — the stars of Boruto -Naruto the Movie- — as playable characters. The initial release will also include The Sixth Hokage costume for Kakashi and The Last -Naruto the Movie- costumes for Sakura and Hinata.

Bandai Namco Entertainment will release the game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam) in the West, although it has not announced the specific release date. The Japanese release will also ship for PlayStation 4, but no PC or Xbox One release has been confirmed for that region.
