Flash Anime Dōshitemo Eto ni Hairitai Premieres in October

Baketan Blog's web manga Dōshitemo Eto ni Hairitai (No Matter What I Want to Join the Zodiac) is getting a flash anime series that will premiere in October. The show's official website is currently streaming a second promotional video for the series.
The show stars:
- Rie Kugimiya as Rat
- Tōru Ohkawa as Cow
- Haruka Tomatsu as Bird
- Tsubasa Yonaga as Dog
- Chō as Snake
- Yuki Masuda as Boar
- Tarusuke Shingaki as Seahorse
The website will reveal the cast members for Cat, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rabbit, and Tiger at a later date.
Baketan Blog is credited with the original work, and Hamta is in charge of the character designs. Baketan Blog is made up character designer and illustrator Hamta and art director, Flash animator, and sculptor Cherri. Daisuke Nishida is directing the series at Pollyanna Graphics Inc. eufonius (Kokoro Connect, Himawari, Clannad theme songs) will perform both the opening song "Hajimari no Oto" (The First Sound) and the ending theme song "Smile! Smile! Fine!" Studio Mausu is producing the sound.
The anime will follow Rat, a member of the Zodiac who meets a normal cat at a park one day. Rat comes to love Cat so much that it becomes very eager to get Cat to become a member of the Zodiac. Cat goes with Rat to meet the rest of the 12 members of the Zodiac to ask them to become a member, but, will Cat be able to peacefully become a member of the Zodiac?
The anime will premiere on October 11 at 9:20 a.m. on Channel NECO.
