posted on by Jennifer Sherman

Comic Smart's free manga app and website Ganma! announced that Fukumen Usagi's Yakiniku-ten Sengoku (Yakiniku Shop Sengoku) manga is getting an anime adaptation. The anime will premiere streaming this year through Ganma!'s anime-viewing feature.

The cast includes:

Satoshi Inomata as Sōji Ōyama

Tomomi Mineuchi as Yae Sakura

Rarisa Tago Takeda as Aoi Shachigashira

Yū Sasahara as Gen Ryūshi

Tadanori Date as Hechima Kaneda

Fumihiko Tachiki as Eiji Sengoku

Hiro Shimono as Hare Motomi

Tomomichi Nishimura as Mamekichi Endō

Shiro Tsubuyaki as Taberareta Ushi no Bōrei-chan (Eaten Cow Ghost)

The manga's story centers on Sōji, who is kind but extremely timid. Sōji, whose nickname is Mop, starts his first job at the neighborhood yakiniku shop Sengoku. He struggles and grows together will his unique coworkers at the shop.

Katsumi Nagai (Musashi-kun to Murayama-san wa Tsukiattemita., Eddie) is directing, writing the script, and editing at Studio Placebo. Momoka Watanabe is in charge of planning and character design. Hiroyuki Mizoguchi is in charge of animation, and Kōji Shimoi is handling the art. Fumio Yasue is in charge of the sound effects, and Shinya Kiyokawa is composing the music.

Usagi Fukumen launched the yakiniku-themed heart-warming gag four-panel manga on Ganma! in 2013, and the series' 184th chapter debuted on Tuesday. Ichijinsha released the manga's first compiled book volume in December.
