San Francisco, Calif. – Crunchyroll, Inc., announced today a streaming rights partnership with Sotsu Co., Ltd., one of Japan's leading content-producing advertising agencies, on the upcoming blockbuster anime series Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector. Title features the voice talents of Toshiyuki Morikawa in the lead role of Alteisen pilot Kyosuke Nanbu as well as an all-star cast of Japanese anime and video game voice-acting veterans. Crunchyroll's Japan office President Vince Shortino said: “The Super Robot Wars franchise has always had a strong following with hardcore mecha fans overseas. Because our global platform reaches consumers in many segmented places that might not normally be reachable through traditional distribution, we are able to deliver content to them and satisfy their need for the absolute freshest anime from Japan like Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector.”

Sotsu Managing Director Takashi Izuhara said: “This is an excellent opportunity for us to promote our contents around the world. Instead of leaving our digital distribution up to internet piracy, we've chosen to work with the strongest online channel for anime in Crunchyroll. We look forward to the consumer reaction to Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector.”

Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector will be available throughout all of the Americas, Europe and Asia every Sunday starting October 3, 2010.
