Crunchyroll to Simulcast White Album 2 Anime Series For Fall 2013

CRUNCHYROLL TO SIMULCAST WHITE ALBUM 2 ANIME SERIES FOR FALL 2013

The leading online Asian entertainment stream service adds the anime series White Album 2 to its fall lineup.

San Francisco, Calif. (October 3, 2013) – Crunchyroll, Inc., has acquired the anime series White Album 2 as part of its fall simulcasts, and is set to broadcast every Saturday starting on October 5, 2013 at 11:00 am Pacific Time for its premium members, with free members able to watch one week later. Originally based off of a visual novel, White Album 2 centers on Haruki Kitahara, a junior in college, and his relationships with two girls in the light music club, Setsuna Ogiso and Kazusa Touma. Animation production is by Satelight, whose other works include AKB0048 and Arata The Legend, and is being directed by Masaomi Andō, who previously also worked on Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse and Fairy Tail.

Haruki is voiced by Takahiro Mizushima, who also played Satoshi Nagino in Love Lab and Rollo Lamperouge in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, with Hitomi Nabatame, Saori Bajina in Oreimo and Margery Daw in Shakugan no Shana, as Kazusa, and Madoka Yonezawa, whose other roles include Izumi Akazawa in Another and Kumiko Yabusaki in Genshiken Second Season, is cast as Setsuna.
