The Vox Reax Tour: A New Kind of Anime Fan Experience
Voice Actors Johnny Yong Bosch, Cristina Vee, Matthew Mercer and Cassandra Lee Morris will kick-off the Vox Reax Tour in Anaheim, CA.
ANAHEIM, CA – June 19, 2014 – Powerhouse voice actors Johnny Yong Bosch, Cristina Vee, Matthew Mercer and Cassandra Lee Morris are combining forces to kick-off the Vox Reax Tour, a new kind of anime fan experience. On August 16, 2014, they will host fans at the Anaheim Desert Palms Hotel & Suites for a day of behind-the-scenes stories, trivia, musical Q&A, exclusive bloopers, never-before-seen footage and more! Signings and photo sessions will take place, and Bosch's band Eyeshine will perform an acoustic set.
"What's great about the Vox Reax Tour for me is it's small and personal enough that I get a chance to spend more direct time with fans,” says Matthew Mercer, who voices Captain Levi in “Attack on Titan,” Leon S. Kennedy in “Resident Evil,” Kiritsugu Emiya in “Fate/Zero” and Alvin in “Tales of Xillia,” among many other roles. “We have a wide variety of panels and discussions that aren't scattered about a convention schedule, so we essentially get to hang out with attendees for a whole day undisturbed."
The event is an exclusive anime experience that has never been done before.
“This is the first date of what we hope will be many,” says Cassandra Lee Morris, who is known for playing Kyubey on “Madoka Magica,” Leafa in “Sword Art Online,” Yubel in “Yu-Gi-Oh! GX” and Nami in “League of Legends,” among other roles. “We are packing a whole lot of chaos and fun into one day, and I'm excited to see how the fans react. It's like a mini-convention on steroids.”

“The actors involved in this first Vox Reax Tour are all very successful, and powerful personalities in the voice over world,” says Cristina Vee, who voices Homura in “Madoka Magica,” Riruka in “Bleach,” Noel Vermillion in “BlazBlue,” and Riven in “League of Legends,” and many others. “Aside from their obvious talent, they are all extremely positive and are great role models for people who are considering this kind of career. I'm very excited to join them for this event and hope that I too can shed some light and have some laughs on this unique business.”
Johnny Yong Bosch, best known for playing Adam Park, the Black Ranger on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Ichigo in “Bleach,” Izaya in “Durarara!!,” and Yukio in “Blue Exorcist,” will also appear. His band Eyeshine will perform a special acoustic set during the afternoon session.
