Yo-kai Watch: Gerapo Rhythm Smartphone Game Delayed to General 2017 Release

Level-5 announced on Saturday that it has delayed the release of its Yo-kai Watch: Gerapo Rhythm smartphone game. The company has changed the release date from March 2017 to a general 2017 release in order to improve the game's quality.
Yo-kai Watch: Gerapo Rhythm is the franchise's first rhythm game. The game will contain tracks from the franchise's installments. Players tap the screen in time with the rhythm to score points. Responding to requests from the audience by picking the appropriate yo-kai character will result in more points. Eventually, players will aim to participate in the "Yo-kai Kōhaku" (Yo-kai Red & White Song Contest, named after Japan's annual song contest during New Year's Eve).
Level-5 also delayed YO-KAI WATCH for Smartphones, its planned smartphone version of its Yo-kai Watch game, from fall 2016 to a general 2017 release.
