Megan Thee Stallion Appears at Dream Con in Bleach Cosplay

American rapper Megan Thee Stallion appeared at Dream Con dressed as Bleach character Yoruichi in Houston on May 30. In an Instagram post, the rapper wrote “Yoruichi Thee Stallion at Dream Convention” with several pictures of herself in her Yoruichi outfit. Stallion also posted two photos of her nails, which were painted as Bleach character Kon.

Megan Thee Stallion appeared at the Power & Creativity: Building a Brand That Moves Culture panel at Dream Con on May 30. According to the Dream Con Instagram account Stallion would, “share how she built a brand that's not only shaped culture but continues to grow with intention & authenticity.” The post further stated a mini cosplay contest would take place after the panel.

The Houston Chronicle newspaper noted Megan Thee Stallion made an exclusive announcement during her panel. The article states the rapper will receive an animated project on Amazon Prime Video in partnership with The Boondocks and Black Dynamite producer Carl Jones. Megan Thee Stallion described the project as anime, although no Japanese creators or studios have been announced for it. (American and South Korean studios animated The Boondocks and Black Dynamite.)
