Japanese Mobile Carrier's Comiket Plans Include A Terrifying Yowapeda Midousuji Truck

In a continued promotional blitz for Au by KDDI's new Anime Pass subscription service, the company will be attending Comiket 86 armed with Yowamushi Pedal goodies and photo opportunities.
Amongst them is a cell signal-boosting truck that features not only a special Yowamushi Pedal vehicle wrap, but also the intensely frightening face of Kyoto Fushimi's Midousuji Akira.
On hand at the Anime Pass booth will be special goodies for members, including playing cards, postcards, cooling pads, and also bicycle-powered charging stations.
There will also be Au employees wandering around the event with portable WiFi hotspots. They'll be dressed as Sohoku racing team members.
Au previously created a shot-for-shot recreation of the third Yowamushi Pedal opening theme song using cosplaying employees.
