Actress, Dark Souls Narrator Pik-Sen Lim Dies at 80

Actress played prominent roles in early British television

Malaysian-British actress Pik-Sen Lim died at 80, according to an Instagram post from actor Daniel York. Malay Mail reported that she died on June 9.

Lim provided the voice of the narrator in FromSoftware's Dark Souls and Dark Souls 3's opening scenes.

The actress had a prolific career in British television, including her well-known roles as Chung Su-Lee in the sitcom Mind Your Language, and Chin Lee in the 1971 Doctor Who serial "The Mind of Evil."

Her recent work included roles in the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil film, the Vampire Academy television series, and The Nevers series among others.

Lim was born in Penang, Malaysia in 1944 during Japanese occupation. She moved to the United Kingdom at 16 to study acting at the London School of Dramatic Art.
