Moyashimon's Ishikawa to Draw in Live Stream Today
posted on by Egan Loo
Update: Masayuki Ishikawa, the manga creator of Moyashimon and Junketsu no Maria - Sorcière de gré, pucelle de force, will stream his entire Saturday drawing session live starting at around noon on Saturday in Japan (11:00 p.m. Friday EDT). Ishikawa plans to stream in real-time from the moment he picks up his pen to the moment he finishes for the day. (He typically works from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on a given day.) As of 9:00 a.m. Japan Time (8:00 p.m. EDT), the live feed currently displays a hand-scrawled note that reads, "I'm sleeping."
Ishikawa's publisher Kodansha had announced its plans to stream Ishikawa's drawing session last month. According to those plans, Ishikawa will be drawing the ninth chapter of his Junketsu no Maria - Sorcière de gré, pucelle de force manga. This chapter will appear in the 11th issue of Good! Afternoon magazine, which will ship on July 7.
