Game uniting Kamen Rider, Gundam, Ultraman characters shipped on Thursday for PS Vita, PS3

Bandai Namco Games began streaming a second promotional video for its Super Hero Generation simulation role-playing game for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita consoles on Thursday. The video shows the system for the game, including the stages based off of the worlds of the fighter characters, as well as crossover conversations between fighters.

Tom Create, the studio that handled the SD Gundam G Generation game series for more than 16 years, is developing the new game. In the game, players will control three characters (one from each of the three franchises) to oppose a "great evil" whose plan is to destroy the world. Confirmed characters include Unicorn Gundam, Kamen Rider Wizard, Ultraman Ginga, Kamen Rider BLACK RX, and more. 37 hero characters and 21 villains will appear in the game.

The game shipped in Japan on Thursday. The PS Vita version retails for 6,640 yen (about US$65) for the physical and download versions, and the "special sound edition" retails for 9,500 yen (US$93). The PS3 version retails for 7,600 yen (US$75) for the physical and download versions, and the "special sound edition" retails for 10,450 yen (US$103).
