Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Reveals 2017's Series Ranking for Male Readers

Tonegawa, Watashi no Shōnen, Fire Punch top list

The 2017 edition of Takarajimasha's Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga Is Amazing!) guidebook will announce its lists of the top manga series on Saturday. The top 20 on its list of manga for male readers are:

  1. Chūkan Kanriroku Tonegawa by Tensei Hagiwara, Nobuyuki Fukumoto, Tomoki Miyoshi, and Tomohiro Hashimoto
  2. Watashi no Shōnen by Hitomi Takano
  3. Fire Punch by Tatsuki Fujimoto
  4. Umezawa Shun Sakuhin Shūsei: Panty Stocking no Yō na Sora no Shita by Shun Umezawa
  5. Golden Gold by Seita Horio
  6. Dungeon Meshi by Ryōko Kui
  7. March comes in like a lion by Chika Umino (tied for 7th)
  8. Drifters by Kouta Hirano (tied for 7th)
  9. Usagi ga Nihiki by Uta Yama
  10. Manga Sadō - Manga de Yomu Sauna Michi by Katsuki Tanaka
  11. Bokutachi ga Yarimashita by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Hikaru Araki
  12. Oshi ga Budōkan Ittekuretara Shinu by Auri Hirao (tied for 12th)
  13. Jūhan Shuttai! by Naoko Mazda (tied for 12th)
  14. AI no Idenshi by Kyuri Yamada
  15. Sō-Bō-Tei Kowasu Beshi by Kazuhirō Fujita (tied for 15th)
  16. Dokonjō Gaeru no Musume by Yūko Ōtsuki (tied for 15th)
  17. World Trigger by Daisuke Ashihara
  18. Designs by Daisuke Igarashi
  19. Shakunetsu Kabaddi by Hajime Musashino
  20. Bon no Kuni by Sukerakko

In 2016, Ryōko Kui's Dungeon Meshi manga topped the Male Readers list, and Fujita's Otaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii topped the Female Readers list. In 2015, Yoshitoki Ōima's A Silent Voice manga topped the Male Readers list, and Tomomi Abe's Chi-chan wa Chotto Tarinai (Chi-chan Isn't Quite Good Enough) topped the Female Readers list.
