Kodansha Comics is releasing Adachitoka's original manga in English as well as the Noragami: Stray Stories manga. The original manga inspired a 12-episode television anime series that premiered in January 2014, and Funimation streamed the series as it aired and released it on home video. The anime's second season, titled Noragami Aragoto, premiered in October 2015, and Funimation also streamed that series as it aired.

The limited editions of the 10th and 11th volumes of the manga each bundled an anime DVD when they shipped in February 2014 and July 2014, respectively. The limited editions of the 15th and 16th volumes also bundled anime DVDs in November 2015 and March 2016.
