Polka Dots Performs Trinity Seven Eternal Library & Alchemic Girl Film's Insert Song

The official website for Trinity Seven: Eternal Library & Alchemic Girl (Gekijōban Trinity Seven - Yūkyū Toshokan to Renkinjutsu Shōjo), the upcoming anime film of Kenji Saitō and Akinari Nao's Trinity Seven - The Seven Magicians manga, announced on Saturday that the musical duo POLKA DOTS will perform the insert song "Lost Days -Piano ver.-." The duo is composed of i☆Ris member Himika Akaneya and Mimi Meme MIMI member Yuki Takao.

The song marks the the musical duo's debut, and it is now available for download. Akaneya wrote the songs lyrics, and Takao composed the music. This is the first time that Akaneya has provided lyrics for a song.

The film is also opening in Japan on Saturday. The anime film's voice actors and staff will appear at special events for seven consecutive days beginning on Monday. The official website also announced that the main cast will attend the "Sexy Magus and Summer Vacation" event , which will be held on July 16.

The film's story begins when Arata inadvertently touches "Hermes Apocrypha," Lilith's Grimoire. Suddenly, he is enveloped by a bright white light, and a girl appears before him. She calls herself Lilim, and treats both Arata and Lilith as her parents. At the same time she appears, something changes in the world. The forbidden Eternal Library awakens. In the Library is sealed the ultimate culmination of Alchemy, the White Demon Lord. The White Demon Lord plots to eliminate Arata and the Trinity Seven to usurp the position of Demon Lord. Bristling with untold power, the White Demon Lord attacks Arata, and triggers a desperate crisis where Arata and the Trinity Seven must save the world in this last battle.

The new cast includes:

Rina Hidaka as Lilim, a girl who appeared when Arata touched Lilith's "Hermes Apocryhpha" Grimoire. She calls Arata and Lilith "Papa" and "Mama."

Nobunaga Shimazaki as Last Trinity, the head of the Eternal Library, the White Demon Lord. He was brought into existence solely to fight Arata, the Demon Lord candidate. He can cause Breakdown Phenomena, and plots to destroy the world

M.A.O as Anastasia L, who is the one who awakens Last Trinity and tells him to fight Arata. She refers to herself with the masculine personal pronoun "boku."

Yoshino Nanjō as Master Akasha, the principal of the Royal Akasha Academy. Works alongside Anastasia=L.

The staff members from the manga's television anime adaptation are all returning for the film.

Yen Press is publishing the original manga in English, and it released the eighth volume on February 21. The company describes the series:

Arata Kasuga transfers to the Royal Biblia Academy to solve the mystery of the destruction that is ravaging the world and—more importantly—has stolen his cousin Hijiri from him. It's a tough road that lies ahead of Arata, but nothing's impossible when you have seven beautiful girls—each a master of her own magical art — at your side!

Saito and Nao launched the manga in Kadokawa's (Fujimi Shobo's) Monthly Dragon Age magazine in 2011, and Kadokawa released the 16th compiled volume on February 9.

The 12-episode television anime series premiered in October 2014, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. Sentai Filmworks released the series with an English dub on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on August 16.
