Himote House Anime Reveals Additional Staff, October 7 Debut

Anime by gdgd Fairies' Kōtarō Ishidate, Bouncy centers on 5 girls, cat living as housemates

The official website for animation studio Bouncy's new Himote House anime updated on Tuesday to reveal more staff for the anime, and the Twitter account revealed the anime's premiere dates.

The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX, BS11, and the GyaO! streaming service on October 7 at 25:50, 24:45, and 25:00 (all effectively on October 8 morning), respectively. It will premiere on J:COM on October 8 at 10:45 p.m.

As previously announced, Kōtarō Ishidate (gdgd Fairies, Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono, Naria Girls) is directing the anime, but is now also credited for the original idea and series composition as well. The artist booota (Seven Senses of the Re'Union novels) is designing the characters. Mikinori Suzuki (Bakuon!!, Yowamushi Pedal 3DCG animation) is credited as the animation director. Junichi Inoue (Minarai Diva, Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono) and Hajime (Minarai Diva, Q Transformers: Kaettekita Convoy no Nazo) are composing the music.

THINKR is credited for visual design. Linked Brain is credited for CG and video production. Bouncy is credited for the original work and animation production.

Suzuko Mimori as Kinami Himote

Satomi Akesaka as Kokoro Himote

Aya Suzaki as Tae Hongō

Sumire Uesaka as Minamo Arai

Asuka Nishi as Enishi

The comedy anime centers on five girls and one cat all living as housemates in Nakano, Tokyo: the three Himote sisters (Tokiyo, Kinami, and Kokoro) whose family manages the "Himote House," Kokoro's classmates Tae and Minamo, and the cat Enishi. The girls live their daily lives trying to figure out ways to be popular, and they (and the cat) all possess a mysterious secret power ….
