Tsubasa Takahashi's manga adaptation of Sekina Aoi and illustrator Sabotenn's Gamers! light novel series ended in the September issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine on Friday.
The original romantic comedy light novel series centers on the gaming lives of various high school students who play video games, including: Keita Amano, a lonely young man who loves video games; Karen Tendō, the beautiful president of the video game club; Chiaki Hoshinomori, who constantly fights with Keita; and Tasuku Uehara, who puts on a facade of being satisfied with his life in the real world, but he in truth loves video games.
Takahashi launched the series in October 2016, and Kadokawa released the sixth compiled book volume on February 25. Aoi and Saboten launched the novel series in 2014, and Kadokawa released the 11th volume in October.
A television anime adaptation of the novels debuted in July 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired, and Funimation offered a simuldub. Funimation also released the series on home video.
