Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo revealed on Monday that it has licensed Aiko Koyama's Juru Masak Para Maiko (Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san) and Makoto Ojiro's Chion and the Cat Temple (Neko no O-tera no Chion-san) manga. The first volumes of both manga shipped on Wednesday.

Juru Masak Para Maiko is set in Kyoto's "hanamachi" geisha quarter. Here, after geisha finish their work late at night, they spend the night resting at a lodge to prepare for the next day. The story centers on Kiyo, an Aomori native who works as a cook in a geisha lodge in Kyoto. She also has a friend named Sumire who is a maiko, or apprentice geisha.

Koyama launched the manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in December 2016. Shogakukan published the manga's 11th compiled book volume on September 12.

Chion and the Cat Temple centers on Gen, a boy who sought a peaceful lifestyle and decides to enroll in a high school in the rural countryside. He moves into his new home, a temple owned by a relative. There, he lives with a girl three years older than him named Chion. While she seems to have it together, she is actually careless.

Ojiro launched the manga in Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits magazine in May 2016, and ended it last November. Shogakukan published the manga's ninth and final volume last December.
