The Girl Who Leapt Through Time Will Be Screened in U.K. Cinemas on Sunday and Tuesday

UK screenings of 4K edition of Mamoru Hosoda's 2006 film.
Anime Limited will release a 4K edition of Mamoru Hosoda's film The Girl Who Leapt Through Time on Sunday July 6 and Tuesday July 8. The film will be screened at cinemas in the Odeon and Showcase cinema chains, as well at other cinemas; the venues are listed at https://blog.alltheanime.com/hosoda-season-cinemas/.
Funimation previously described the film:
"After waking up late, flunking her pop quiz, embarrassing herself on numerous occasions, and starting a fire in her home economics class, high school student Makoto Konno figures she's just having one of those days. And just when she thinks she's made it through, the brakes on her bike malfunction putting her on a collision course with a speeding train. The life-ending accident would have been the perfect end to the worst day ever, but the strangest thing happens—she leaps backwards in time."
Hosoda and Madhouse Studios' film based on Yasutaka Tsutsui's 1967 novel opened in Japan in 2006.
Anime Limited has previously announced that it will also screen 4K editions of Mamoru Hosoda's Summer Wars, on August 3 and 5; and Wolf Children, on August 17 and 19.
