Fruitbat Factory to Publish Tama In-Between, Demo Now in Steam Next Fest
October 17, 2025, Tokyo - Fruitbat Factory has announced a partnership with Masagomi Studios to publish Tama In-Between, a charming puzzle platformer featuring a cute slime cat. Its demo can now be played in Steam Next Fest!
Equipped with three unique abilities, our slightly unusual feline hero “Tama” navigates a strange fantasy world filled with mysteries and packed with pixel art charm. Only your clever thinking can lead Tama to her destination.
It appears that she is searching for something, though even Tama herself is not quite sure what. Guided by that faint emotion, she wordlessly journeys forth.
Tama's Abilities:
Absorb: Tama can absorb the slime she finds to grow in size.
Split: Tama can split her chonky slime frame in two, allowing her to reach new areas, leaving behind a piece of herself.
Swap: Tama can take control of a previously split slime body to solve puzzles from unexpected directions.
Tama In-Between is scheduled to release in 2026. It will support English, Japanese and Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
