I'm confident that most of these seiyuu are okay. The epicenter of the quake was 250 miles off the coast of Northern Japan, most of the damage and death is in Miyagi and on the coastline of Fukushima. The death toll thankfully is from the Tsunami not the jiishin. Neigborhoods and prefectures in Tokyo are intact, buildings swayed but didn't collapse. 4 million central Japan resident are without power.

Japan is very earthquake prone and very jiishin conceinece. They're known as the top disaster prepared country in the world. They've spent decades developing quake techology and even have special helmets for falling debris.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is "Jiishin"?

What about Motoki Takagi,Chiwa Sato and Mamiko Noto and Wataru Hotano? They are all natives of Chiba.

And Shinichiro Miki,Rika Matsumoto,Michiko Neya,Rika Fukami,Ai Orikasa and Aya Hisakawa? All Saitama natives.

I'll see if I can dig anything up now.

Rica Fukami: OK - http://twitter.com/ricafukami88/status/46241621976678400
Aya Hisakawa: Found nothing yet
Rica Matsumoto: Nothing on her blog since the quake. Registered on Person Finder, but in English.
Shinichiro Miki: No blog or twitter, site not updated since February.
Michiko Neya: Found nothing so far.
Ai Orikasa: No update. A couple of people have left worried messages on her site's BBS.

Wataru Hatano: No blog posts since the quake.
Mamiko Noto: Not found anything yet
Chiwa Saito: Found out it's her birthday other than that..
Motoki Takagi: Finally some good news.

Dunno if this counts or not, but The Sonic Stadium website has reported that SEGA composer and guitarist of Crush 40, Jun Senoue, and SEGA of America manager Aaron Webber, who are both in Tokyo, are both safe and unharmed.

Glad they're ok (hope their friends and family are too)! I hope that Akira Toriyama, An Nakahara, Sakai Mayu, and everyone else out there are ok too!

What about Kana Hanazawa? I am really worried about her right now and I hope she and everyone else in the situation in Japan are safe. If you can please give me any updates on her I would really appreciate it.

Sorry if this has already been said, but Maaya Sakamoto and Yana Toboso have been reported to be alive. Does anyone know the status of Hayao Miyazaki, Jun Fukuyama, or Hidekazu Himaruya?
